PRETTY IN PINK - FAVOURITE LIPSTICKS

Hi everyone!

Here is a little post on a couple of lipsticks I'm loving recently! I wear them everyday, either on their own or layered to make a different colour altogether!

SEVENTEEN - Stay Pout - KISS ME QUICK

The first lipstick is Stay pout by SEVENTEEN in the shade Kiss Me Quick. This is quite a coral pink, which I love because any lipstick which has a tint of orange in it, automatically wins a place in my makeup bag! I know a lot of people change their lipstick colours for different seasons - darker in the Winter and lighter in the Spring/Summer, however I don't find I suit dark colours on my lips so I stick with anything that has a baby pink/bright pink/coral/lilac colour - anything that doesn't wash me out completely - like for example, deep purples, reds etc., even though I would absolutely love to be able to wear them; they just do not suit me!

So yes, I love the SEVENTEEN Stay Pout - Kiss Me Quick lipstick! Definitely recommend. I love the tube as well - it's always nice to have fancy lipstick packaging! The price is amazing for the quality too! I think it's £4.49 which is outstanding and something that is so affordable if you fancy trying a new colour or brand but you're feeling the pinch with Christmas just passing. Also, the longevity of this lipstick - especially if blotted, stays on an incredible amount of time. I explain a little later in this post a bit more on that!

Here's a little chart of the different colours they do in this range!

TOPSHOP MATTE BULLET - PLASTIQUE

Topshop Matte Bullet

This is more like one of those chubby stick type lipsticks. I love these types of lipsticks because it's so easy to apply and reapply without needing a mirror (especially due to the subtle colour - can't say it would be easy to apply red without a mirror!)

The colour, like I said, it a subtle, pastel-like lilac colour which I think most people would suit. It's not an offensive colour or too bold (if you're feeling a little less confident) and it's just a really pretty colour to take you through each season! It does say it's a matte effect, however it can be a tiny, tiny bit glossy, (not as in a proper lip gloss finish, just a subtle sheen!) so I'd blot it a little just to get that full on matte look!

I really like the simplicity of the packaging; clean looking with the crisp white body, clear lid so you can identify the colour easily if you have multiple colours and a young, fun type font. I always like to talk about the packaging of products... Weird? Probably.

You can get this nifty chubby stick-like lipstick for £8 exclusive to Topshop!

Here are the other colours they sell in this Lip Bullet! I think I'll try "There She Goes" soon!

These two lipsticks are beautiful on their own, but if you like to mix colours and brands; these two lipsticks are your new "besties". If you put one lipstick on, blot it and then apply the next and blot again, you're set for the day! They both stay on amazingly well, for a very, very long time - even after eating the messiest of foods! Win!

Have you tried either of these products? What do you think of them?

HOLY GRAIL DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION

Now you may or may not already know but Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation is my all time favourite drugstore foundations. In fact, I'd even go as far as saying that it's probably one of my all time foundations in general, it's that good! My favourite high end foundation is Nars Sheer Glow and I'd say this is on par with it!

The reason I love this foundation so much is because of the fantastic coverage it gives. If you're looking for a light, sheer, natural coverage then this is for you. If you're looking for a medium coverage, this is for you. If you're looking for a fuller coverage...you've guessed it, this is for you and I'll explain why...

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation adjusts to whichever coverage you want. With some foundations, if you want to build to get a fuller coverage, sometimes it can look cakey and thick but not with this product. By the way, I'm not in any way sponsored by Bourjois, I just purely love this foundation so much. So anyways, the coverage here is totally up to you!

What I love more than the coverage is the effect it gives. This foundation provides a sort of pearlescent effect, if you like, on the skin, giving an instantaneous glow and radiance boost. Due to the fact that it does provide a glowy/dewy look, if you have oily skin, as long as you set it with powder you should be fine! I always set mine with a bit of powder even though I have more dry skin - it just keeps it in place better and prolongs the longevity of the look! The information on the bottle even claims to give you hydrated and luminous skin, and I definitely agree that it does!

The price of this product is £9.99 from places like Boots and Superdrug but I try and wait until there's a good deal on before I stock up! I also use the colour shade 52 as I find this isn't too pale like shade 51 and it isn't too dark like shade 53!

Finally, as you may or may not know, Bourjois is owned by Chanel and is a fantastic dupe for Chanel foundations like Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua so I love how the Bourjois Health Mix has similarities to that!

This was more of a basic post and the reason for that was because I just wanted to highlight how much I love this product and share with you a really great, affordable foundation!

Have you ever tried this product? What do you think of it?

Thanks for reading!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: Dupe edition!

Hi readers!

I've got a dupe post for you today which features the W7 range eye shadow palette called 'In The Buff Eyeshadow Palette'.

First of all, the colours within this palette are completely up my street. I always wear a bronzed/gold-ish eye shadow and love how this palette has every bronzed shade you could possibly want. From light golds to deep metallic browns, I love the colour range and feel you can create as great a smokey bronzed eye as if you were using something like Urban Decay's 'Naked 2 Palette'.

I do love the colour range in the 'Naked 2 Palette' but I feel like paying £37 (approx) for an eye shadow palette, isn't for me so this W7 palette which cost me £5.99 was a definite bargain and one of my must buys! It also has fantastic staying power. It lasts all day long and I don't ever wear an eye shadow primer or anything, so keep that in mind also!

Here's a close up of the colours:

I purchased this product in my local independent makeup shop where I live, but you can buy this anywhere that stocks the W7 range. I've found a website (which I've not used so I'm not sponsored!) where you can get it a bit cheaper for £4.45 here!

I really do recommend you try out this product as it'll save you money and works just as great as any high end product, in my opinion!

Have you tried this product? What did you think?

Thanks for reading this post!

The bronzer you absolutely must try!

Hi everyone!

So another product I purchased in Florida was the Sonia Kashuk Undetectable Cream Bronzer in the colour Warm Tan.

First of all I really, really love this bronzer. I didn't think I'd find an affordable cream bronzer that I love as much as the SEVENTEEN cream bronzer, but this has definitely topped it!

I love that this bronzer has a lovely tan shade to give you a healthy glow without it being too dark or orange-y but at the same time, it gives a slight pink tone so it kind of works like a blusher and bronzer in one.

As I mentioned, this bronzer is definitely affordable at $10.99 from Target. I always do a huge Sonia Kashuk haul whenever I'm in America because I'm not sure that the UK sells any of her products, at least they don't where I live in the UK - if you know of a UK site which sells Sonia Kashuk products, please let me know!!

A lot of people apply cream bronzers with brushes however my favourite way to apply any cream bronzer (especially this one!) is by using a damp beauty blender! By using a damp beauty blender, you'll get a great coverage without it being too contoured, it will go on evenly and its so simple to rectify if you make a little mistake! If you are using a beauty blender, make sure it is damp, not too soaked and not too dry because neither will work well!

I hope this post was helpful and you decide to try out this bronzer! I've been excited to try it for awhile and now that I have, I don't want to use any other bronzer!
