FAT FACE SUMMER COLLECTION COLLABORATION

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all doing well and enjoying this temperamental summer weather! The weather in Wales is starting to heat up a bit now so when Fat Face got in touch to do a collaboration for their new arrivals as well as summer and beach collections, I was beyond excited because I just love all of their items!

I could actually pick the pieces I liked and so I've got a few pictures to follow of the items I was lucky enough to be sent (thank you, Fat Face!)

Look 1

The top is called Pretty Broderie T-Shirt and the bottoms are called Printed Pineapple TrousersI got this top in white but they do sell it in navy too! I love this look because it's so casual yet smart! The top is so pretty and sometimes a plainer top looks better when you've got patterned trousers on! I thought I'd tuck this top into the trousers so you could see how high the trousers actually are and also just because I like it tucked in - but you could totally wear it whichever way you'd like! There are no rules!

The top's detail is cotton with a lace embroidery detail all over the front and plain on the back - extremely comfortable yet gives you that put together look I often lack! The trousers have an elasticated waist (perfect) with adjustable drawstrings and are a super light and flexible material (very soft!)

Here's me being super relaxed and comfy lounging on the grass (with one of the cute neighbourhood cats also lounging in the background!)

Look 2

So I decided to pick a top and bottoms to match together (as seen previously) or wear separately, so in the picture above, I'm wearing the bottoms from Fat Face and matched it with a top I already own. These trousers are the comfiest trousers I own - honestly. I'm going to Florida in August and I'm planning to wear these travelling as they're so comfy, I'd happily do a 10 hour flight in them. As well as wearing them travelling, I'll be wearing them out to meals with a nice floaty vest top for that boho look paired with some nice big hoop earrings! You can also really dress these trousers up with a top like the one I'm wearing above or keep it casual like the top from Fat Face in the first picture!

The colours in these trousers are so pretty; navy, blue, aqua and a peach colour too so you can get lots of different tops to go with these. I 100% recommend them for style and comfort reasons. I also love these because I'm the type of person to stick to jeans 99.9% of the time so to have something different, makes me want to wear them all the time (they also do other patterns and colours so check them out!)

Thank you all for reading and thank you to Fat Face for these lovely items - I'm obsessed!

TWITTER CHAT FOR BLOGGERS

Twitter chats for bloggers

Hi everyone! I hope you're all well and enjoying the Easter bank holiday!

This post is all about, as you might've guessed, a new Twitter chat for all bloggers

A few months ago, when introducing the new part of #TakeBackWhatsYours campaign, I decided it would be so much fun to start a new Twitter chat for it. It's another way for us all to connect, chat and share experiences and generally help us all feel great, empowered and motivated which is the main message of my campaign. I've hosted Twitter chats in the past & really enjoyed it, so I thought to myself, why not start one for #TakeBackWhatsYours?

Some topics which will be covered each week are as follows;
  • Self-esteem and low confidence
  • Setting goals and learning how to achieve them
  • Turning dreams into reality
  • Taking back your life & gaining control
  • Anxiety
  • Motivation
  • Diabetes & other medical problems
  • Health, fitness & food
  • School/University/Careers
  • Blogging, blog tips, SEO, traffic, engagement, events, working with brands
  • Beauty/fashion/lifestyle/interior/food/travel/books/tv/films

I would love for you to also tweet me topic requests to get us going and for us to have a good few weeks of chat topics lined up so we all know what's going on and what to expect!

The hashtag will be '#TBWY' instead of #TakeBackWhatsYours (for character restrictions) and the Twitter account questions will be asked from @TBWYCampaign

I'm still a little bit unsure of what day to definitely hold the chat because there are quite a few that go on and I want to make sure it fits in best around the other chats! Please tweet me day and time suggestions and I'll decide for sure ASAP - I was thinking possibly a Friday/Saturday/Sunday evening around 9pm! I will update you all as soon as I have set a day for sure so keep an eye on @ChloesConcept, @TBWYCampaign and here because I'll be posting about it on all three!

I love Twitter chats but I want this one to be slightly different. For example, at the beginning of the chat, the first question I might ask could be for you all to tweet a picture of your favourite quote, or of a quote you're loving at the moment. This will be just to kick things off and get everyone feeling hopeful, motivated and inspired!

If you'd be interested in "tuning in" for this #TBWY chat, please let me know so I know how many would be keen for this and I'll get to work straight away as I'm really excited to get this going!

PRIMARK PURSE HAUL

I usually love a good sturdy purse but I've come to realise I end up filling it with loads of junk, like receipts and generally things I don't need to carry with me on a daily basis. I also hate talking all of my cards with me everywhere I go in case I lose them so when I go to university, I usually take a different purse than when I'm going into town shopping or whatever.

Currently I'm using the white and black stripe purse as my uni purse but the one I take everywhere else, with my cards in it, recently broke so I thought I'd take a trip to Primark to see what others they had to offer as I love the stripe one so much! The stripe on this reminds me of a Chanel purse... it must be because of the stripes and also the fact that it's round. To me it looks more expensive than a Primark purse, which I love! I think this one was about £2 but I can't be certain, it was very inexpensive anyways!

While I was at Primark, I found this polka dot cream and black purse with a little black bow on it. I think it was £4 so for a sturdy purse like this one, I think that's a great price. It has two compartments - one for change and the other for cards so that's perfect for me as there's nothing worse than when you've got everything going on inside your purse and you drop money out when you're scrambling looking for a certain card or note.

Finally, when I saw this last purse which is a stone grey colour with what looks like a Koala on it, I had to buy it. I didn't need it but I couldn't leave it there! I just think it's a really cute purse which will come in handy if you're only taking some notes or change out with you that day! This was so inexpensive at only £2!

What do you think of these purses?

Thanks for reading!
