KEEP YOUR POWER

This post is for anyone who is being bullied. Now, if you've ever been bullied in the past, you will agree when I say that a bully's dream is to be powerful and by being powerful it means taking power away from their target.

It isn't easy to stop bullying. That is a fact. But why are we letting these bullies take our power away from us? Without our power, they can't succeed with their dream of being powerful. Granted, this is much easier said than done - try telling someone who is currently being bullied "don't let them impact your life" and they'll reply "it's okay for you to say that, but try being in my position".

I know 100% how you feel going into school or wherever your bully is. It's the worst feeling ever. All you want to do is go back home and stay in your room all day! Am I right? I'm not just making this post to lie and tell you everything's going to be okay if it's not...I am writing this post to truthfully tell you EVERYTHING WILL be okay. I have nothing to gain from lying to you, so please believe me.

A trick I like to suggest to those who suffer from panic attacks is something I think works for people who are being bullied, here it is:

When you are in school, college or wherever you are being bullied, put yourself in a bubble and pretend you are somewhere else. Anywhere you feel comfortable, safe, happy and somewhere that no one can upset you. This place is yours and no bully can get in.

Bullies tend to leech onto people they envy in someway, whether it be your intelligence - they'll likely call you a freak, geek or names like that... or maybe your pretty hair or clothes - they'll likely call you ugly or old-fashioned. When you hear this, know deep down that they feel the polar opposite to this, they 100% wish they were as intelligent as you and they 100% wish that they had your hair or your outfit.

Trust me when I say that in the future (very near future) these bullies are going to be failing school and dropping out with no one to call friends. They'll be lonely, lonely people with no life aspirations or goals and will think back to the time they felt they had all the power that they didn't achieve by themselves...it was the power they took from their targets.do you think they'll still feel powerful then?

Always keep your power and the bully will never be powerful.

If you are being bullied, please reach out to someone. The whole purpose of this platform is to provide support to whoever needs it. Remember, I am only 21 and I'm in my last year at university so I can still relate to whatever you are going through!

Interview with the Megan Meier Foundation

Can you tell me a bit about the Megan Meier Foundation?

In December of 2007, Tina Meier founded the 501(c)(3) non-profit Megan Meier Foundation named after her 13 year old daughter, Megan Taylor Meier. Just prior to her 14th Birthday, Megan attempted to take her own life. All efforts were made to save her, unfortunately she passed on October 17, 2006. The day before her passing, Megan and Josh Evans, a MySpace friend at the time, had an argument that escalated into horrible, hurtful messages like, "The world would be a better place without you". Six weeks after Megan's suicide, Tina Meier was informed that Josh Evans was a fictitious creation of an adult neighbor.

Cyber-bullying is rising at such a fast rate and people often forget that the effect it has on victims can be just as damaging as any other form of bullying. What is the main aim for your foundation?

The Megan Meier Foundation currently offers community resources, scholarships, student workshops, and speaking engagements by Tina Meier for students, parents, educator, and other professionals. The mission of the Megan Meier Foundation is to “create awareness, education and promote positive change to children, parents and educators in response to the issues surrounding bullying and cyber-bullying in our children’s daily environment.”

How did you grow and expand your audience?

Tina's initial presentations were to student groups, however she quickly became aware that bullying prevention needed to be tackled on all levels including not only students, but also school officials and educators, parents, and whole communities. Tina now offers presentations to various groups in the hopes that providing bullying prevention information and techniques will lessen all forms of bullying in communities around the US.

How did you reach your audience?

The Megan Meier Foundation reaches students, educators, and parents through social media and other national and international media platforms including television and radio. We also directly interact with these groups at presentations and workshop, and even at our annual fundraising events: Celebration for Change and Golf Tournament.

What has your foundation managed to achieve?

As of June 2014, the Foundation has managed to reach 209,000 students, educators, and parents through our programs. I've attached our Fact Sheet that includes more information about the work we have accomplished since 2008.

That is an incredible number! I will attach the fact sheet below! Do you have any advice for anyone going through bullying/cyber bullying right now?

One immediate piece of advice for youth going through bullying or cyber-bullying would be, tell a trusted adult. Sometimes kids feel like they can handle it or that it's too embarrassing to tell, but we have found that the best approach to end such situations is by making adults aware. A trusted adult doesn't necessarily have to be mom or dad, but anyone you feel like will listen and help address the situation like a teacher, youth group leader, coach, mentor, sibling, etc. It may also take a few tries to get their attention, but someone will help.

I would just like to say thank you so much to the Megan Meier Foundation for this interview, your great efforts are making huge differences worldwide!

Everyday Simple Skincare Routine

As far as caring for my skin goes, I probably don't do enough but I do realise how important it is so I have stepped it up a notch and now take it much more seriously!

This skincare post is extremely simple and manageable, making it extremely effortless and easy to upkeep and maintain!

In this post I'll be talking about 3 main products for:
  • Face
  • Eyes
  • Lips

Face:

I have very sensitive and dry skin which means that the face product I use has to coincide with that and ensure they don't irritate my skin. In my opinion, these products will work for anyone no matter if you have sensitive skin or not because it's kinder on your skin and who wouldn't want that?

The moisturiser I use is Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser. There's many moisturisers by Simple but as I have dry skin, I use the "Rich Moisturiser"! I love this moisturiser as not only is it extremely affordable (approx £2 depending on where you pick it up!) it has no scent and is very soothing and calming on my skin, no irritation or breakouts after using it! As I have some facial redness, some moisturisers tend to flare up my skin afterwards, making the redness extremely prominent (which is something that I feel self-conscious about before applying any creams, let alone after something's been applied and irritated it!)

It also works great with any primer I use and dries in relatively quickly! All in all, I love this moisturiser! Great buy and something I will definitely be re-purchasing... although it does have 125 ml worth so there's quite a lot in there to see me through for quite some time!)

beauty, skincare, moisturiser, skin, sensitive skin,

Eyes:

This is something I've tended to ignore the most out of my skincare routines as I never really see an improvement straight away... I don't really have bags or noticeable dark circles under my eyes so I thought "why bother?" even after knowing that the skin around your eyes is extremely delicate as it's so thin around there! So, I decided to buy something relatively cheap and see how I get on before I take the plunge and buy something a little more expensive!

I use Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Gel which costs an astronomical, massive price of £1.50! I couldn't leave it on the shelf for that price! I stick it in the fridge and every night after I've taken my makeup off and moisturised, I apply it under my eyes and on my eye lids. It's such a lovely feeling as its so cold and refreshing! I can't say I've really seen much of a difference, but like I said before, I don't consider myself to have majorly bad under eye bags or dark circles so I like to use it just because it feels nice and soothing! It can't be doing them any harm, right? So why not give it a shot!

Lips:

Okay so this was probably the product I've searched for the longest. Up until a few months ago, I used Carmex all the time and I wish I still could because it was amazing, lasted so long, was cheap and tasted delicious (not that I'm eating my lip balm but the Mint one was my favourite!) but recently my lips have got increasingly more chapped and dry and I'm not sure whether it's because I have pet allergies or whatever but nothing was curing the dryness or helping them from being chapped! I did some research and tried various products but nothing worked! I then found a balm called PapayaGold PAWPAW which is £5.99. I'll put the link here and no I'm not being sponsored for this in any way, shape or form! I bought this last week and already my lips are getting back to normal so I really do recommend this product!

There is quite a lot in the tube so will definitely last you for awhile! To me, £5.99 seemed a bit much for a lip balm, but on the tube, it says it is for "dry, chapped lips and irritated skin" so you can use it anywhere that's irritated, not only on your lips!

Hope this helps! If you want to tweet me, my Twitter is @ChloesConcept!

Anxiety: Guide & Steps to recover from panic attacks.

Hi Bloggers!

Ever feel like things are piling up and you can't seem to see any light at the end of the tunnel? This post is dedicated to Anxiety.

Firstly, I just want to remind you, whatever you are going through, you can and will get through it!

Anxiety:

So sometimes you feel like you're kind of sinking in a state of panic, like everything is totally piling up on you. It can be triggered by any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable, nervous, stressed or even maybe an environment you're not used to! I guess the trigger can literally be anything that causes you to feel a bit different to what you usually feel like. There are different forms of Anxiety such as mild Anxiety and severe Anxiety. Now I think everyone is likely to have gone through or will go through mild Anxiety at least once in their lifetime where a stressful situation will bring on a mild panic attack where for a short while you feel a sense of "I can't do this!" and you panic and worry. This happens frequently for me, but one time I remember well was around exam time. I still get reminded from my friends how I once cried in the girls toilets prior to my GCSE Maths exam and quite honestly, I don't know how I managed to refrain from crying prior to all of my exams because they stressed me out so much!

Now, severe Anxiety constantly remains at a high level of intensity for a longer period of time. Severe Anxiety may make you feel completely unable to deal with the situation, like you have no power or control and like you cannot for the life of you see any way out...this may then lead you to have a panic attack. Now these can usually last between 5 and 20 minutes but if longer, it could be that you're experiencing more than one panic attack in that period of time.

If you suffer from panic attacks, the best thing to do is:

  • Totally remove yourself from the situation you're in.
  • Pretend you are a different person, choose your favourite actor or singer or anyone you look up to and be them for a minute. As soon as you disconnect yourself with how you are feeling right at that moment, you should start to feel a bit clearer.
  • Go outside if you can, or go in a different room.
  • Take deep breaths in and out over and over again.
  • Stick your iPod on and put your favourite song on. This will help relax you and make you feel more comfortable as the song you're listening to will have good connotations and will therefore help you regain positivity.

My favourite tip: You can do this now, before your panic attacks begin again. All you have to do is to imagine a place in your mind. Imagine that place so vividly you can see every single detail about it; for example, if it's a beach, imagine the sand between your toes, the scent of sun lotion you've recently applied, the crystal blue sea and the hot, sizzling sun beating down on you. Make sure whatever place you choose has a calming effect on you, a place you love visiting or would love to visit. I think this is my favourite tip as for those few minutes you can totally take yourself out of the situation that is causing your panic attack and place yourself in an environment that can calm you and make you feel comfortable and positive (and it's an extremely cheap holiday without having to actually travel anywhere!)

Don't forget my motto: Take back what's yours! This picture below is one I took on my trip around California. It's one of my happy places, so I thought I'd share it with you!

My Campaign...explained.

Hi! I'm Chloe, I'm 21 and I live in the UK. I blog about beauty, fashion, lifestyle & interior but my blog has a twist and that's what I will be explaining in this post.

I'm a Media and Communications undergrad student, just starting my final year uni! I study film, journalism, public relations (PR), radio etc., so I have no option but to have been thrown into the “media world” and I really do love it.

The past few months I've been seriously thinking about what I want to do with my degree and whilst I know I love PR and journalism, I want to start putting what I have learnt to good use. In PR I've had to create campaigns for various topics such as health & fitness but a topic which is very important to me is bullying which also includes self-esteem, body confidence and anxiety related issues. My main reason for starting my blog was to provide a platform for people to come visit and feel safe and at home and know they are not alone.

I feel that the power that the Internet holds is so massive that we cannot even comprehend it so we just go along and accept it but the Internet is hugely used to reinforce negativity in the world and this cannot carry on. The Internet and everything on it is a huge opinion former, where it influences what people believe and what they do.

I want to use the Internet for all the right reasons and reinforce positivity and motivation on my blog and campaign to help people who are going through any of the problems I have mentioned. My blog is a total safe zone. I provide beauty, hair, fashion, interior and lifestyle tips, tricks and reviews so you can have a little look at that if you prefer but you can also be a part of my campaign, whether it is to help yourself or to help others. I will also be including diabetes type 1 into my campaign as I have had this condition for 10 years now and feel that my campaign can also support those who are also going through what I have.

I understand that you cannot simply stop bullying, anxiety, increase your body confidence and self-esteem. It isn't that easy, I get it - but what you CAN do is change the way it impacts people and help them to block the negativity and problems that is making people feel negative about themselves. I really can't make it clear enough: YOU control YOU.

A little motto I use in my campaign is “TAKE BACK WHAT'S YOURS” and by this I mean, whatever anyone else has taken away from you, whether it's your self-esteem, happiness, positivity, motivation and so on, NOW is the time to take back what belongs to you and keep it forever!

My blog/campaign is a project which excites me as I don't plan to stop until everyone knows about it and passes it along to whoever they think may need it! I've already conducted many interviews on my blog and in-depth blogger profiles where each blogger is totally honest and inspiring in what they say!

I have huge plans for this and I'd love everyone to know about it and get involved so we can put an end to letting negativity take away what belongs to us... whether that negativity comes in the form of a bully, a doubt in your mind, a past experience or anything that is taking away your right to be happy and motivated.

If you want to talk about anything, whether it be just chatting about your day, venting about something that's going on in your life right now or if you need advice or someone to listen, I'm always, always available and you can be sure it will go no further than me. That is the reason I have created this platform as I know it's not easy to confide in people.
.
I hope you guys will come back to my blog again let me know you've dropped by!

Anxiety & Depression interview with Amy!

Today's interview is with Amy and we will be discussing Anxiety and Depression.

Okay, let's get started! Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

My name is Amy and I'm a 21 year old blogger. I love fashion and beauty.

What do you blog about?

I blog about beauty fashion and lifestyle.

What inspires you in life?

I found this quite difficult to answer but I guess what inspires me is people who struggle ever day but come out the other side also people that work hard for what they want and there dreams finally come true.

I think that type of inspiration is often the kind we forget about, where we always look to famous people to keep us inspired yet forget about people that works just as hard, if not harder in life! So what keeps you motivated?

I find friends keep me motivated. This is something I've always had trouble with but I'm getting better as I get older

Motivation is extremely difficult to find. What is your proudest achievement either in life or the blogging world?

My proudest achievement is reaching 282 followers also making so many beautiful friends.

That's a great achievement! So in today's interview we'll be talking about Anxiety and Depression. How has Anxiety and depression changed your life?

Its changed my live massively. I changed as a person and became someone I didn't know. I can't go out without someone and I can't do what normal 21 years old do because it literally runs my life

How are you coping with it?

I don't really cope with it I just get on with it. It's not going to change anytime soon so I just have to put up with it. But I do need to get better at coping with it and understanding it a bit better.

Do you feel like the media are doing enough to help people who suffer from Anxiety and Depression?

No I don't. There's hardly any support coming from the media. If there is something it's always something negative which doesn't help anyone.

I totally agree, that's why I have created this blog and campaign; I hope it can help you and others who are going through similar issues feel like you are not alone and help you to cope better! What are your top tips for anyone living with Anxiety and depression?

My top tips are:
  • Don't let it beat you
  • Say yes
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help

Thank you, Amy! I think saying “yes” more often is definitely one of my favourite tips to progressing in whatever you are going through. You never know the opportunities that can arise from just simply saying “yes” more often! Asking for help is another major tip that people almost never take. A problem shared is a problem halved!

I'd just like to say thank you to Amy for participating in this interview! I hope that whoever is reading this passes it on to whoever needs support in this area as that is the main purpose for this blog/campaign!

Body Confidence interview with Holly!

Hi Holly! Thank you for participating in this interview on body confidence! Could you tell me a bit about yourself?

Hi! My name is Holly and I am a sixteen year old blogger from the west coast of Scotland. I'm currently in high school and just starting my last year, which is super scary because it means that it is soon time for university applications and making life plans and I don't feel quite mentally prepared for that yet! I am currently studying Advanced Higher English, Advanced Higher Modern Studies and Higher Geography because I'd love to be a journalist/writer when I am older. Nothing excites me more than a good ol' book.

Sounds awesome, I love journalism too! I think all bloggers must be interested in writing to a certain degree as blogging involves a lot of it! So what do you blog about?

My blog started of as primarily a beauty blog, posting reviews of my favourite new makeup and skincare bits and bobs and my monthly favourites, but I have now started branching out and writing about books. I am planning on a few other slightly different blog posts as well as I feel beauty blogs are so common now that it's good to be a little different. I do still write my beauty stuff because it is an interest to me but it's fun trying out new things.

I agree, I love trying new things with my blog! I guess venturing out and being different takes a lot of inspiration too! What inspires you in life?

The main thing that inspires me is the people round about me that I can see have done well. I have actually met Jackie Bird, the Scottish journalist/newsreader (she is absolutely hilarious), and hearing about her journey in life and how hard she worked to get where she is today made me realise how difficult it is to achieve your dream but it is worth it in the end. She is walking proof of that.

That's sounds so interesting! Dreams are difficult to reach but with the right amount of motivation, you can do anything! What keeps you motivated?

I must admit, I am not the most motivated person in the world if I am left to my own devices but stick me in a group of my friends and my inner competitiveness appears and I strive to do as good as everyone else, if not better.

What is your proudest achievement either in life or the blogging world?

Every time someone leaves a comment on my blog or tweets me or sends me an email saying how much they enjoyed the post or loved what I wrote it honestly fills me with joy. It's a good feeling knowing people like to hear what you have to say and not only that, follow your blog so they can come back for more. In the real world, I pride myself with doing well in school which may sound dorky but I don't really care. I done pretty damn well in my Standard Grade exams, if I do say so myself. Still waiting with baited breath about my Highers though.

There's nothing wrong with doing well in school and it's such a lovely feeling to know that there are people who are enjoying what you read! So can you tell me about your experience with body confidence?

Body confidence is something which I really struggle with and have done for a good few years now. Obviously we don't all love everything about our bodies but some of us dislike it more than others. As much as I wish this wasn't the case, I'm not happy with how my body looks but I know I'm not the only one out there. There are a lot of styles of clothes that I would never dream of wearing because I would feel way too self-conscious and think that everyone was judging me, even though they probably barely even noticed that I was feeling uncomfortable.

It's true what you say, everyone feels self-conscious about something and you do feel like people are judging you but the majority of the time, they are probably feeling just as self-conscious about something themselves! How would you say it has changed your life?

Like I said, I tend to dress in 'safe clothes' that don't cling to my skin too much. I am only a UK size 8/10 which I know isn't exactly fat but that doesn't mean I am happy with it. My stomach is my least favourite bit and I feel like it is horrible and flabby looking so I refrain from wearing shorted tops or anything that emphasises my stomach. I love crop tops but I'm too nervous and to wear them.

How are you coping with it?

I wouldn't say I am coping fantastically but I am getting better. I am starting to (very slowly) learn that it doesn't really matter too much how I look and I need to accept the way that things are. I dislike exercise far too much to tackle it that way, and chocolate is my downfall! I think you really just need to accept it and get on with your life, rather than let it affect you any more than it already does.

I totally agree, sometimes you can let it get to you so much that it clouds any possible way to deal with it and accept yourself for who you are! Do you feel like the media are doing enough to help people who suffer from low body confidence?

The media are the worst for affecting how people think of themselves, if I am being honest. TV shows are full of stick-thin confident people who look and feel great about themselves and aren't afraid to show off their best assets. That said, shops like Debenhams are softening the blow a little bit by having plus size mannequins in their stores. This is a great idea, we don't all look like the fake hourglass figure that they use to try and sell their clothes to us! The average women is a UK size 16, and it's great that some are accepting that and showing it is perfectly okay to be that size.

Definitely, the media have such a powerful influence, particularly over people who are already feeling low about themselves and their looks! What are your top tips for anyone living with body confidence?

I am going to be blunt with you all here - suck it up. Your body is the way it is for a reason and if you want to change it you need to either do a ton of hard work or sacrifice a year's wages on cosmetic surgery for things that can't be altered by cutting the carbs and going on a few runs. If you aren't prepared for drastic measures, it's time for you to accept the way you are and move. Hate your legs? Well, think about the things that you do like. Make a list of all the things that you hate about your body, and then follow it with a list of all the things you love about your body and also your personality. I'll go first. I hate my stomach because it's kinda flabby, my bum is really flat and looks rubbish in jeans and tight skirts, my thighs are pretty jiggly, my nose has a funny bump in it half way down and it looks weird if you look at my from the right hand side. The list goes on. However, I like my eyes. They are a pretty hazel colour and look really nice with so many different eyeshadow colours. I like my hair because it's so thick and curly that I don't really need to do much with it. This may sound weird but I like my feet. They are really small for my height (UK 4) and my toes are short and fat but they look kinda cute. I think I have a foot fetish. My boobs aren't bad, they are an acceptable size and look pretty good if I wear something that is tight. They are a pretty average size so shops always have bras in my size because they always put more out for average sizes.

See? Not all things are bad. You just have to look past all the things that you don't like and see the positives. Soon you will see that the things you don't like don't really matter because you have all these other great things going on that no one even notices your flat bum.

Anxiety Q&A with Cez Franc!

Hey Cez! Tell me a bit about yourself!

Hey, I am 14 years old and i'm from the UK. I am a completely obsessed with make-up, nails, music, books and life in general. I also feel very strongly towards the subject of bullying and growing up, especially depression and anxiety/confidence as i've got through some personal issues myself. Also, I think that the media needs help to see what really is going on in society and feel as tough if many people help we could sort these problems out. Other than that, my two main hobbies are to write my blog and play music instruments such as guitar, ukulele and piano.

What do you blog about?

After a long time of wanting to I have only just started my blog. My blog is based on everything I feel passionate about and it also represents how i have been inspired by blogs I have read for a very long time. I suppose, the main subject that will be wrote about on my blog is beauty, make-up and hair but it will always be a bit mix and match with posts from music, books, lifestyle quotes and random bits. The main purpose of my blog however is to try and make people happy and enjoy reading my posts and on top of that it makes me really happy and excited to write every post as it distracts me from problems and lets me be myself and relax for a short while.

What inspires you in life?

I am quite a simple person when it comes to my inspirations in life as I'm really old fashioned. I know we all have them really chaotic dreams when you can perform your music live and record an album but even though that would be insane, I think for me i would stick to a life where I am happy. For people who know me, they know that i really just would like to move from where I am from, maybe south, Brighton seems like perfection, and to be able to live a life full of happiness and excitement. I really like to travel and would love to find someone who i can share everything with and to have a good time with travelling and seeing all the wonders of the incredible work. As sad as this may sound, I would just love to have a really loving family and to meet new people and have a life that I enjoy. As for inspirations that I love now, it is definitely music that helps me get through everything and lets me express myself. Jobs wise I would love to be a guitar tech, maybe even travel with it or maybe this blog/in the industry, which would be amazing as it would then be my hobby turn into a job, or I would be satisfied with a job that can keep me going.

That sounds awesome! So what keeps you motivated?

As I have already mentioned, music keeps me going. As cliche as that sounds, I find that I have a passion for it and can express my self through it or listening to it. The presence of music makes me so happy and motivated to see what lies ahead in the future for me and my love for music. As well as the music itself, I love the whole package including seeing artists or musicals live. There is nothing that gives me more of a buzz than seeing/listening to music live with the show and atmosphere its just insane and its now just part of who I am. While i'm on the subject I have tickets to see Robbie Williams on the 30th June, and Ed Sheeran on the 28th October, which increasing helps me keep motivated as I know I have something to look forward to and focus on.

It's always great to have something to look forward to, it helps to keep you positive and happy! On the subject of positivity, what is your proudest achievement either in life or the blogging world?

I think my proudest achievement is the fact that I found a passion of music and fell in love with it. I am proud to say that i can play guitar, ukulele and keyboard as I don't always stick to my word on tying to motivate myself so being able to do it really makes me happy. The result is even better as it means as well as listening/watching i passion i can also listen to it.

In the blogging world I think my proudest achievement is just the fact that I have actually begun my blog, Florezz, as its been on the cards for a very long time but I have been to afraid to start one, but now I have I feel as though i've got myself back and made a dream a reality.

Sometimes actually starting something is the hardest part! Can you tell me what your experience with Anxiety/Confidence issues are?

My experiences still lead up to this day and I have been struggling with it for a little while now. I have always been a shy and content person when it comes to socializing and doing things out of my comfort zone but it soon began to be alot more.

I wasn't really sure at the time that i was really going through all of this as I felt very confused and wondered why I couldn't do certain things. I didn't actually realize until this year that I had been struggling with anxiety. When it comes to confidence issues, I've always been the shy one that doesn't like any fuss over them and sometimes just wants to be alone.

Back to anxiety, I wasn't really sure what it was even though i was going through it and then when I watched Zoella's video and blog post on it, I then realized what I was really going through. I started to realize that I had lied to by best friend because I didn't want to go out or said I felt ill to avoid going out. I was really scared to go to certain places and see certain people as I felt vulnerable and didn't want anything to happen to me when I was out.

How has it changed your life?

It changed my life immensely even if I wasn't sure why. I am a person that likes to stay indoors and scroll the internet for 24 hrs refreshing the page every few minutes. However I did notice a change within myself that was even more scared and all in all alot more low that I had been in a long time and soon some people started to notice it.

It has changed my life in many different ways as I've done things to myself that I never though I would do and I'm still not fully over it all and don't think there is a real cure to it all other than yourself. I still do struggle with with going to places, seeing some people and what people think of me but I hope soon that I will start to turn back to my old self again.

How are you coping with it?

I didn't really tell anyone about it and still now only a few people know about it. But, when I told the first person about what I'm going through I felt as though a massive weight was taken off my shoulder which all in all I was quite shocked about as I don't like to feelings or to be made a fuss of but I'm so happy I did as it helped me so much through out this process and couldn't thank them for what they have done to help me.

As I said I do still struggle with it and even though I do think telling someone gives a weight of your shoulder but I feel as though for me, not everyone, I need to help myself get through this and continue my battle and struggle with it.

Do you feel like the media are doing enough to help people who suffer from Anxiety?

In my opinion I feel as though the view on society has exploded and if you go on to places such as social media most posts are about how people feel towards it. In my opinion I would never write a status expressing what i struggle with and how I feel because many people are constantly writing status and although for some it might help them, for me it just makes things worse. I want to be able to forget about pressure and hurt of it all but every time I log on I always see some type status or moaning about it which just drags on way to much.

In the media I feel as though many people look down on it as a lot of celebrities/campaigns or people try to help/raise the issue that affect many people but as the media normally does, twists everything and complains about a lot to do with society and young people, that sometimes all the status trigger.

I feel as though campaigns like these are great as it shows the real side to the story and helps people going through tough times and lets people express their true feelings.

What are your top tips for anyone living with Anxiety?

I think you have to look at the life you have and the life you wish you had and just say yes to everything in that list. I know many people say this and at the start you don't feel as though its helping or giving you motivation but in time it really would help.

You need to speak to someone about it as it might not make anything change hugely but it will sure take a weight off your shoulder and know that someone is their beside you, routing for you.

Try to keep positive and think about all the amazing things you have done in your life that makes you happy whether they are either big or small.

To be positive is sometimes hard but to help yourself get through things, to go places or do things you are scared of, you need to have an open, positive mind.

Do what makes you happy. It always helps.. And Just Say YES, it will work!
